(BEDFORD) - The Fifth Annual Ugly Duck Derby Saturday got off to a splashing start at John Lowery Pool. More than $37,000 was raised for the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County.
Following the theme of Cheese Burger in Paradise, attendees enjoyed watching the Belly Buster Celebrities plunge into the water while feasting on hamburgers fresh off the grill prepared by Henry Hill with his special sauce and Larry Summerton performing for the crowd.
The first woman to ever win the Celebrity Belly Buster title - Angie Timan.
