Firefighters Battle House And Camper Fires

(WASHINGTON) - A home at 2920 Old US 50 was destroyed by fire on Saturday.

Washington Township Fire Department and firefighters from Washington City and Veale Township responded.

When firefighters arrived at 5:24 p.m. the first and second floor of the home was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were on the scene until nearly 11 p.m.

The home was totally destroyed. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Also on Saturday, Washington City Firefighters were called fire on Oak Grove Road. A camper parked next to a home was on fire.

The call came in just after midnight. Firefighters were on the scene until just after 3 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
