DNR Biologist Looking For Volunteers To Count Bats

Last updated on Wednesday, May 10, 2017

(UNDATED) - Got Bats? The Department of Natural Resources want your help.

DNR biologists are looking for volunteers to conduct exit counts of bats as they leave their roosts at dusk.

The information collected will help biologists monitor the distribution and abundance of bats in their summer range.

To participate, you must know where bats are roosting on your property and be able to count bats for 8-12 nights between May 17 and July 15.
