(BEDFORD) - Cole Watson has joined Hoosier Hills Credit Union as Controller. Watson is a Certified Public Accountant with prior experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Indianapolis and at Baldwin & Lyons, also in Indianapolis.
In his new position, Watson oversees the daily activities of the Accounting and Finance Department. This includes the creation of complete and accurate financial statements, generation of the annual operating budget, and assistance facilitating compliance and financial statement audits. He also works closely with HHCU's CFO to manage the Credit Union's balance sheet and help execute special projects.
A graduate of the Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Watson also earned a Master of Science in Accounting degree from IU's Kelley School of Business. He also has a Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP) certification from IU. In addition to his public accounting experience, Watson also served as a Staff Accountant at Solution Tree in Bloomington.
