Car Crash Claims Lives Of Two Medora Men

(SPARKSVILLE) - A single-vehicle crash early Friday morning claimed the lives of two Medora men.

At 5:14 a.m., deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the crash at the intersection of Sparksville Road and Sparksville Crossing.

The driver 42-year-old William Spence III of Medora was traveling south on Sparoksville Crossing when he drove his 1966 Malibu SS through the T-intersection at Sparksville Road and collided head on with an earth embankment.

According to police, both Spence and his passenger, 36-year-old Homer Delph, died at the scene.

Neither Spence nor Delph were wearing seat belts during the incident.

The crash is still under investigation.
