(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested after police were called to investigate a domestic fight Sunday

Bedford Police arrested 28-year-old Elizabeth House of 2206 1/2 N St., on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest by force.

She was later released from jail after posting a $755 cash bond.

According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to the home at 9:55 p.m. where House was being physically aggressive toward a male at the home.

Chief Parsley says the male suffered scratches, but refused to file battery charges.
