(BEDFORD) - The All Schools Special Track and Field Day is scheduled for Thursday and Friday at Bedford North Lawrence High School.
The annual event, once know as Special Olympics, will attract a total of 364 athletes from seven school corporations including: BNL, Eastern Greene, Medora, Brownstown, Mitchell, Orleans and Shoals.
Today's events will begin with the opening ceremonies and the parade of athletes at 9:30 a.m. In addition, athletes will participate in running and throwing events along with other activities throughout the day.
Friday morning's events will feature final heats for relay races followed by award presentations.
