(SALEM) - Washington County Sheriff's Deputy Matt Hein responded to a unique call Thursday afternoon on Bethlehem Church Road.

The caller reported a snake inside their residence and requested assistance with removing it.

Deputy Hein arrived at the residence and the snake was located behind the refrigerator, wrapped around the coils.

Deputy Hein carefully unwrapped the snake which was about 3-4 foot in length and then turned the snake loose in a nearby field.
