(BEDFORD) - The annual United Way Day of Caring is set for May 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This year volunteers will spend the day working at the new Bedford Community Garden located at 416 H St.
Lorri Hamer, executive director of United Way of South Central Indiana, says the master plan for the garden includes rest rooms, a playground, a Born Learning Trail, a walking trail, a plot for the Master Gardeners, fruit trees and bushes and plots where the public can grow their own food.
All volunteers will receive a free T-shirt. For more information, call Hamer at (812) 278-8613.
