(BEDFORD) - A Springville man was injured in a crash at 18th and M streets on Friday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, 70-year-old Richard Tallman suffered bruising to his head and was taken by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
Police say Tallmon was traveling north on M Street and approaching 18th Street in a 1997 GMC Truck when he had the green light at the intersection.
Police say a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by 19-year-old Rexton Ward of Bedford, pulled in front of him. Ward had been traveling east on 18th Street but was unable to stop for the red light.
Ward was not injured in the crash.
