(BEDFORD) - South Lawrence Utilities will begin flushing hydrants the week of April 17th and will continue for 2-3 weeks depending on weather and unforeseen issues.

Customers are cautioned to be careful on or about these days as the water can be muddy or rusty and will be harmful to laundry as far as staining. If the water becomes discolored in your area, let the cold faucets run until the water clears.
