(BEDFORD) - Beginning May 1, North Lawrence Community School system will utilize an online system for assigning substitute teachers.
In January, the school board entered into a contract with PCMI Staffing Services to change the process.
The new system, called Will-Sub, operates through the use of a calendar that is accessed on the internet, allowing teachers to flag a day when a substitute is needed.
Those who are in the pool of substitutes can indicate their availability to fill a spot.
