(BLOOMINGTON) - Motorist fires gun at others in the 2300 block of South Winslow Court and around 5:50 p.m. on Monday.

According to Bloomington Police, responding officers met with the driver and three passengers of a green Mitsubishi convertible.

The witnesses told officers that they were driving on West Graham Drive when they pulled behind a gold SUV. The driver of the SUV leaned out of his window and said something to them and then pulled the weapon and fired.

Several witnesses in the area reported that the man fired the gun at the ground.

No one was injured and no property was damaged during the incident. Investigators did find a shell casing in the 2300 block of South Winslow Court.

Those in the convertible were able to give police a partial license plate number. But officers could not find the SUV or the driver.

The driver was described to police as black, in his late teens or early 20s, with short hair and a gap between his teeth. He wore a red, short-sleeved shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call BPD Detective Chris Scott at (812) 339-4477.
