Judah Heritage Festival Scholarship And Pagent Accepting Applications

(JUDAH) - The Judah Heritage Festival Scholarship and the 40’s + Ms. Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness pageants will begin taking applications for contestants today through - May 5th.

Entry forms can be found at Johnny Junxions in Judah or they can be asked for on the Judah Heritage Festival Scholarship pageant Facebook page.

Forms must be turned in to Johnny Junxions by May 5th with the $30 entry fee, a wallet sized photo and all attached forms completed. The Ms. Pink application must also include a photo copy ID.

The pageant will take place at Bedford Little Theatre on June 20th at 6:30 pm.

Crowning for both events will be held on the Judah Festivals main stage June 22nd at 6 p.m.

The Queen in the scholarship pageant will receive a $500 check. There will be a 1st, and 2nd Runner Up, also Miss Congeniality and a new title this year, Jr. Miss Awareness in connection with Judah's MS. Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness pageant.

The Ms. Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness pageant is for fun and to raise awareness and help raise funds for the Lawrence County cancer patients and Phi Beta Psi, who will use the funds to help those dealing with the disease.

A Ms. Pink will be crowned and a 1st and 2nd Runner Up, and Ms. Awareness, the woman who raises the most for the cause.
