Delivery Driver Attacked After Attempting To Remove Dancer From The Hood Of His Vehicle

(BLOOMINGTON) - A delivery driver was injured after he attempted to remove a person dancing on the hood of his vehicle Saturday afternoon during the Little 500 in Bloomington.

According to a Bloomington Police report, the driver was making a delivery just before 5 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Lincoln Street. When he stopped, a person jumped on the hood and began dancing.

The driver got out of the car and tried to pull the dancer off and that is when someone else in the crowd grabbed him, knocked him to the ground and struck him numerous times in the back.

The attacker and the dancer then fled back into the crowd of a nearby party.
