(LINTON) - The body of a man was found at Linton's Humphreys Park on Saturday afternoon.

Linton Police Chief Troy Jerrell says it appears William Good, who is in his 70s, laid down on the steps behind the stage and died in his sleep.

His body was found Saturday afternoon by an individual in the park, who then alerted police.

"The coroner does not suspect foul play," Jerrell added. "He had previously slept in the park and officers asked him to stop doing that. He had been staying at the Park Inn."
