(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man injured after a two vehicle accident on State Road 158 Monday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, at 1:52 p.m., 24-year-old Aliza J. Stewart of Oolitic was traveling west on State Road 158 in a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. As she was approaching the 5400 block of State Road 158, a 1996 Ford Windstar pulled out of a driveway in front of Stewart and the vehicles collided. The Ford was driven by 23-year-old Samantha Taylor of Fayetteville.
Taylor told police she was distracted when she pulled onto the road.
Taylor's passenger, 31-year-old Everette Hallatt of Bedford, complained of neck pain.
Assisting at the scene were an IU Health Hospital ambulance, Bedford Fire Department extrication unit and Indian Creek Township Volunteer Fire Department.
