(BEDFORD) - A 12-year-old girl was arrested last week after she allegedly brought a knife to the Bedford Middle School and threatened a student.
Principal David Schlegel called police at 3:24 p.m. on April 19th to report the threat.
The girl was arrested by police the next day on charges of intimidation and possession of a knife on school property. She was released to the custody of a grandparent.
She has not returned to the school since her arrest.
According to police, the girl was leaving school at the end of the day when she allegedly threatened another student.
The male student says the girl verbally threatened him and then showed him a knife she had concealed in her cellphone case.
