(BEDFORD) - Taylor Graeter has been named the new golf pro at Otis Park Golf Course.
He replaces Aaron Harrell, who resigned just before the end of 2016 to pursue a career that allowed him more time with his family.
Graeter worked three seasons as lead assistant at The Donald Ross Course in French Lick and has worked in the golf industry for six years.
A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Graeter studied marketing with a special emphasis on golf management. He attained a PGA Class A membership plus Level 1 coaching status with First Tee of Indiana, an organization designed to bring affordable junior golf programs to local youth with the idea of blending rules of the game with life and leadership skills.
An Indiana PGA Section award-winner for youth player development in 2016, Graeter served as Springs Valley High School's men's golf coach and as an instructor for Orange County's First Tee and PGA Junior League. He's also worked as an instructor at numerous clinics and seminars and helped facilitate more than 200 tournaments during his stint at French Lick.
Graeter's background also includes jobs at Oconee Golf Course on the Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga., both Standard Country Club and The Golf House in Louisville, and at Crystal Lake Country Club in Crystal Lake, Ill.
