(SPRINGVILLE) - A Springville man was injured after he was thrown from his motorcycle early Saturday morning.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 29-year-old Isaac Trimble was traveling north on McMillian Road approaching the bridge when he lost control of his 2004 Kawasaki KL650 causing the vehicle to run off the roadway on to some loose gravel.

The motorcycle traveled 65 feet before it fell over throwing Trimble from the bike.

Trimble rolled into the pillar connected to the south part of the guardrail on the east side of the bridge. He suffered a possible broken back and broken ribs and was flown by Stat Flight medical helicopter to the University of Louisville Hospital.
