Last updated on Friday, March 3, 2017

(ORLEANS) - After an absence of one year the Orleans Chamber of Commerce will once again sponsor its popular Silent Auction in conjunction with the upcoming 2017 Orleans Dogwood Festival.

Another large and interesting array of Items are expected to be on display at the Orleans Christian Church Unity Hall on Thursday, April 27th, Friday, April 28th, and Saturday, April 29th. Approximately 300-500 guests pass through the Silent Auction during the festival week. This is a great way to help promote local and area businesses. Donors are asked to attach their business card or name to their item(s) so that we can help promote their businesses, product etc.

All contributors will be recognized for their donations in area newspapers and on area radio stations, etc. Proceeds will benefit the Chamber's various community improvement projects This annual event serves as the Chamber's main "Fun-Raiser of the year. This is also the only officially sanctioned Silent Auction by the Dogwood Festival Committee.

Chamber representatives are encouraging the Orleans area business community and Dogwood patrons to join them in making this Silent Auction another huge success.

Wendy Sprigler is serving as the event chair and will be joined this year by co-chairs Debbie Stone and Jon Stalker.
