(NEEDMORE) - Salt Creek Brewery will host its 4th annual 5K run and walk on April 15 at 4 p.m.
Race proceeds benefit the Batcole Foundation, a Lawrence County based charity which supports families of child cancer patients.
All registrants get to enjoy a glass of either craft beer (must be 21+) or homemade soda after the race. Early registrants also receive a souvenir pint glass; extra glasses will be available first-come first-served to same-day registrants.
Early registration for $20 is online through April 13 at 11:30 p.m. at http://bit.ly/scb5k2017; a special early rate of $16 is available for kids under 15. Same-day registration for $22 will be offered on April 15 from 3-3:45 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall runners and walkers (both male and female), plus age-group prizes for runners only.
The Salt Creek Brewery 5K is also part of the 2017 Mag 7 Racing Series.
