(BLOOMINGTON) - Motorists should avoid Hillside Drive around 9 a.m. Thursday as Bloomington Restorations Inc. moves a two-bedroom bungalow from its current location at 602 E. Hillside Drive to 1523 S. Olive Street.

The move will begin around 9 a.m. Thursday.

Crews will continue southbound on South Huntington Drive and then turn east onto East Thornton Drive ending at its destination on South Olive Street.

The move is expected to take about two hours.

The house was located on the site of the new Park South apartment development, at the corner of Hillside and Henderson streets. The owners gave Bloomington Restorations permission to preserve and relocate the home as part of its Endangered Historic Properties Program.

The group began the moving process and then agreed to sell the home to Nancy Letham, who is completing the moving process.
