(BLOOMINGTON) - Members of the Orleans Future Farmers Of America (FFA) chapter competed in the district FFA speech and demonstration contests at Bloomington North High School on March 7.
Participants are, front row, Mackenzie Walls, Charity Flynn and Alyssa Livingston; back row, Owen Jenkins, Otto Jenkins, Kevin Johnson and Brady Carmickle.
Kevin Johnson placed first in freshman extemporaneous public speaking and will compete in the state finals. Mackenzie Walls placed third in junior high animal science demonstration. Charity Flynn placed second in junior high public speaking, and Otto Jenkins placed third in junior high plant and soil science.
