L.I.F.E. Selling Petunias To Benefit Food Pantry

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor (L.I.F.E.) is taking orders for 11-inch hanging baskets of petunias.

The cost is $20 per basket with $10 of every basket going to LIFE.

The flowers are wave petunias supplied by HB Farms of Floyd Knobs.

Four color choices will be offered this year: red/white/blue, purple/plum, purple/yellow, solid purple.

Money is collected when the order is placed.

Orders can by placed by contacting the L.I.F.E. offices Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays in Bedford, (812) 279-4442, or Mitchell, (812) 849-2111, on Tuesdays or Thursdays. The last day to order is April 14.

Baskets can be picked up on April 29, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Mitchell First Baptist Church, 122 N. Seventh St., and from noon to 2 p.m. at Bedford LIFE offices, 1204 I St.
