(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Economic Growth Council is inviting area startups, new business owners, and similar hopefuls to participate in an in-depth 8 week course covering the entrepreneurial experience.
"Our hope is to instill best practices and help foster a community who embraces entrepreneurship as a means of community growth. Additionally, by creating a platform to discuss tough questions, a company will gain knowledge and expanded networks that assist in their development," says Shance Sizemore, CEO Lawrence County Economic Growth Council
In this course, participants will discuss starting and growing a business from the ground up. They will gain insight from the experiences of others in a limited classroom. Entrepreneurs will dive into topics every business owner should be familiar with including: developing your company, explore marketing strategies, financial planning, and opportunities that support your business model.
Classmates will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning April 10th and follow an 8 week itinerary covering the most important topics when it comes to a startup company. Those attending this course will meet and network with business leaders and experts from the Lawrence County area. The cost is $175 for the entire course.
