(SEYMOUR) - New Albany, the defending Class 4-A state champion, ranked No.1 will continue their title chase when they face Bedford North Lawrence (9-15) in the second sectional semifinal at Seymour tonight.
The winner will meet either No.13 Floyd Central (18-4) or Seymour (9-14) in the final on Saturday night.
The Bulldogs have won the last three sectional trophies awarded at Seymour, and seven of the last 10.
BNL, which drew a bye to reach this point in the postseason, has not won a sectional title since 2001.
The sectional winner will return to Seymour for the two-game regional on March 11.
