Bloomington Woman Arrested With Two Others After Neighbors Complain

Last updated on Monday, March 20, 2017

(VIGO CO.) - Thursday afternoon, Indiana State Police Troopers from the Putnamville District Meth Suppression Team arrested a Bloomington woman after they received numerous reports of possible drug activity in a home in the 2800 block of South 27th Street in Terre Haute.

When police arrived at the home and began talking to the residents, they noticed the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the home.

Troopers detained the occupants and secured the residence while applying for a Vigo County Superior Court search warrant.

Once the warrant was obtained, troopers searched the home and found approximately 17 grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 3 grams of heroin, approximately 3 grams of suspected crystal meth, approximately 2 grams of marijuana, prescription pills, a handgun, and many items of drug paraphernalia such as syringes, scales and smoking pipes.

Troopers arrested 19-year-old Victoria Summer Majko of Bloomington as she attempted to flee the home on foot. She was quickly taken into custody after a brief chase and incarcerated in the Vigo County Jail on charges of possession of meth, resisting law enforcement, visiting a common nuisance, and on an outstanding warrant for battery from Monroe County.

Also arrested was 35-year-old Shane David Moore of Terre Haute on charges of possession of meth, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of syringes, dealing meth, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, dealing cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance and a charge of a felon in possession of a handgun.

Several area residents reported substantial vehicular and foot traffic in and around the residence and the porch light would often change colors and times of use, most likely alerting potential buyers or users about the availability of illicit drugs.

Anyone wishing to report information on suspected methamphetamine or other illegal drug activity in the Putnamville District (Parke, Vermillion, Vigo, Clay, Putnam, and Sullivan counties) can call the post at (765) 653-4114. Anonymous calls can be taken.
