Bloomington Man Turns Self In After Stealing Video Games From Target

Last updated on Monday, March 6, 2017

(BLOOMINGTON) - A 21-year-old Bloomington man turned himself in after he says he stole video games from Target at College Mall.

On Tuesday, Joshua Walker went to the Target store and told store officials he stole 3 video games on February 13.

According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Dana Cole, Walker told police he was behind on his rent, so he stole the games to sell them to friends. The value of the games were $199.97.

Target's loss prevention division pulled security tapes from February 13 and found footage of Walker leaving Target and a security tower sounding an alarm.

Walker was not taken to jail, but given a court summons to appear on a misdemeanor charge of theft.
