(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested after a woman claims he sexually assaulted her.
Bloomington Police arrested 34-year-old Zachariah Wall early Thursday morning on felony charges of rape, domestic battery and battery. He is being held at the Monroe County Jail without bond.
According to police, the woman claims that during an argument with Wall, he grabbed her by the arm, dragged her into a bedroom and sexually assaulted her. She says a child entered the room and interrupted the assault and that is when Walls shoved the child.
The police reports states the woman had visible signs of injury on her arm.
Walls was arrested after police were called to Night Moves on South Walnut Street after a report of a disturbance.
Wall told police the act was consensual and that he had accidentally shoved the child while trying to offer the child a hug.
