Last updated on Friday, March 3, 2017

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman suffered minor injures in a two-vehicle crash at N and 24th streets Thursday night.

According to a Bedford Police report, 21-year-old McChalia Cabage of Bedford was traveling north on N Street in a 1993 Chevrolet pickup and was approaching a yield sign at the intersection of 24th Street. At the same time, 25-year-old Tia Clouse of Bedford was traveling east on 24th Street in a 1997 Ford Explorer approaching a yield sign.

Cabage told police he was sitting at the intersection and did not see any other vehicles and proceed onto 24th Street.

Clouse told police she was traveling east on 24th Street when Cabage's pickup proceeded onto 24th Street and struck her vehicle as she was attempting to pass N Street.

Both drivers told police they didn't have time to stop and avoid the collision.

Cabage was not injured during the incident.

Clouse suffered an injury to her left hand and wrist and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Clouse was cited into court for operating a vehicle while never being licensed and was issued a ticket for being an uninsured driver and having a false or fictitious registration.
