(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested Wednesday after police say he grabbed a woman's chest and solicited her for sex.

Lawrence Count Police arrested 48-year-old Lloyd Johnson of Bedford on a warrant charging him with a Level 6 felony of sexual battery.

According to a Lawrence County Superior Court I probable cause affidavit, Bedford Police were called to a home in the 1700 block of J Street on October 30th after a woman called police to report a sexual complaint.

According to the woman, Johnson came to her mother's home without permission. The woman told police it appeared that Johnson "was on something."

The woman asked Johnson to leave and that is when Johnson allegedly walked to her and grabbed her chest. He then offered her $20 for sexual intercourse. She told him no and requested for him to leave. Johnson then increased the offer to $40 and grabbed her a second time.

The woman's 5-year-old son witnessed the incident.

Johnson is being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $7,500 surety or $755 cash bond.
