(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a crash at the intersection of Maple Leaf and Erie Church roads Saturday afternoon.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 18-year-old Jeremy Brown of Freetown was traveling east on Erie Church Road in a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup and was crossing Maple Leaf Road when he failed to see a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by 66-year-old Jane Miller.

Brown told police a pillar was blocking his view from the stop sign so he didn't see the other car.

Miller complained of abdomen and pelvis pain and was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.

Brown complained of lower leg pain and was treated at the scene.
