(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are looking for a man in a white van who stopped a 13-year-old girl and sexually harassed her as she was walking home from school Thursday afternoon.

The Tri-North Middle School student told police she was walking along North Adams Street when two white men in a white Chevrolet Astro van stopped and asked if she wanted to "hang out."

Bloomington Police Department Detective Sgt. Dana Cole says the 13-year-old ignored the men but they kept after her and sexually propositioning her - she kept walking.

The van then left the area, but not before the teen took down the license plate number.

Police say the men are both college-aged and the driver had a beard. Police say the van is owned by an Indianapolis man.

Anyone with information about the men or the van are asked to call the Bloomington Police Department detective division at (812) 339-4477.
