(MITCHELL) - Police are looking for two males who poured gas on a mobile home and then set it on fire early Sunday morning.

Police say there were two adults and three children inside of the mobile home at Lakeside Estates. No one was hurt, according to Lawrence County Police Department logs.

At 1:20 a.m. a man walking his dog reported he saw two males pouring a liquid on the mobile home and then lighting it on fire. Mitchell and Marion VFDs were alerted, but the fire was out before firefighters arrived. Firefighters doused the scene to wash away any remaining fluid.

The caller told police the male then got into a vehicle and fled in a burgundy Mercury Sable northbound on Rabbitsville Road.

Anyone who information about the incident is asked to call the Mitchell Police Department at (812) 849-2151.
