Pedestrian Dies From Injures Suffered In Traffic Accident

(JASONVILLE) - A traffic accident in Jasonville Thursday afternoon left a pedestrian dead and two people injured.

The accident remains under investigation. The names of those injured have not been released.

According to Jasonville Police Chief Jim Gadberry, the pedestrian was flown by medical helicopter to the hospital where they later died from their injuries. Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The accident happened at 3:25 p.m. at the intersection of North Park and Hickory streets.

The accident is still under investigation by Jasonville Assistant Chief Ryan Van Horn and an Indiana State Police Accident Reconstruction trooper.
