(HUNTINGBURG) - A Holland man was arrested after Huntingburg officers found him with nearly 40 grams of meth and heroin.

Police arrested 30-year-old Zachary Gentry on felony charges of possession of meth and heroin and misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Officers were called to Casey's at 302 S. Main Street at 6:59 a.m. to check on a man who appeared to be passed out in his vehicle.

When officers arrived they found Gentry snoring behind the steering wheel of a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass.

When they approached the vehicle they found Gentry had a glass smoking pipe between his legs in the seat.

After waking Gentry, police say his speech was slurred and he kept falling back asleep.

When Gentry stepped from the vehicle, police found 6 grams of heroin on his person and then during a search of the vehicle found around 40 grams of meth.

He was arrested and taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
