Fire Destroys Elnora Home, Two Suffer Smoke Inhalation

(ELNORA) - Two helicopters were dispatched to a North Daviess home following an early morning house fire.

Police were alerted to the blaze just before 5 a.m. at 427 State Road 58 in Elnora.

Elnora Fire, Southwest Medical and County Sheriff's officers responded.

The home was engulfed in flames. Two occupants managed to get out but suffered smoke inhalation.

Two Air Evac choppers were called to the scene to transport the two to Daviess Community Hospital. Their names are not being released at this time.
