(BLOOMINGTON) - A fire in a dryer caused around $15,000 in damages to a Bloomington laundromat.

Bloomington Fire Departments were called to Laundry Works, located in the 2430 block of South Walnut St. Pike, just after 5 p.m.

No one was in the building when firefighters arrived.

Bloomington Fire Department Sgt. Danny Gillespie says the fire was contained to one dryer, but smoke spread throughout the building.
