(DUBOIS CO.) - The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Jasper man for driving a vehicle while intoxicated early Saturday morning following a rollover accident on U.S. 231.
According to a Dubois Sheriff's Department report, a deputy on routine patrol came across the smoking overturned 2014 Dodge Charger at 1:41 a.m.
The driver, 25-year-old Fernando Flores, was trapped inside. Officers were able to free Flores from the wreckage.
Flores, who suffered only minor injuries was taken to Memorial Hospital for medical clearance. While there, it was determined Flores' blood alcohol content was 0.24 percent.
He was arrested and taken to the Dubois County Security Center on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving without a driver's license.
