(WASHINGTON) - Three people were arrested following a traffic stop in Washington on Tuesday night.

At 10:30 p.m. Washington Police Officer Barry Hudson stopped a vehicle on West Oak Street.

That is when Officer Hudson discovered one of the passengers, 29-year-old Justin Wirey, was wanted on a warrant for dealing cocaine or heroin. The warrant was issued after an investigation by Washington and Indiana State Police.

Hudson was arrested and a K-9 was called to the scene. The police dog alerted police to possible drugs in the vehicle.

Police found marijuana, a syringe and other drug paraphernalia.

The driver 22-year-old Jenna Hill was arrested on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance.

The investigation led police to Westwood Apartments where after obtaining a search warrant officers found more drug paraphernalia, including syringes.

Police then arrested 50-year-old Angela Howard on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance.
