(ORLEANS) - Orleans Jr. Sr. High School will be hosting the ninth annual Pep Band Invitational on Saturday, January 21st.
The band booster organization coordinates the event which features 16 Indiana schools for a day of spirited, musical competition.
The event is open to the public and general admission tickets are $5 and available at the door, preschool and younger is free.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with the competition beginning at 10 a.m.
Participating schools include: Paoli, Perry Central, Austin, Shoals, Crawford County, Borden, South Central, Tecumseh, Silver Creek, Henryville, BNL, West Washington, Barr Reeve, Jennings County, and Indiana University Southeast.
The event reflects the hometown ball game atmosphere with outstanding band performances, mascots, cheerleaders, and student cheering.
Concessions are available. Orleans Jr. Sr. High School is located near the corner of West Wilson Street and Highway 37 in Orleans.
