(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested Friday night after police say he punched another man in the nose.
Police arrested 26-year-old Cody Freeman on a warrant for battery resulting in bodily injury.
According to a Lawrence County Superior Court I probable cause affidavit, on January 1 a man went to the Mitchell Police Department to report that Freeman had punched him in the face on December 18 and blooded his nose. The man also suffered bruising around his eyes.
He is being held at the Lawrence County Jail on a $5,000 surety or $505 cash bond.
