(BEDFORD) - Members of Hoosier Hills Credit Union can now earn rewards points on every HHCU debit card purchase they make. Hoosier Hills values community, and so does its new partner, Buzz Points.
Those who enroll earn points for all purchases, but earn twice as many points for shopping with their favorite local businesses. Local merchants are being added to the program almost daily.
Hoosier Hills Credit Union members who enroll in the Buzz Points rewards program earn points redeemable for gift cards with local and national businesses. They also receive discount offers from Preferred Local Merchants. Purchases made at local businesses help keep more profit in the community, often when it is needed most.
Participating members may also designate their rewards to benefit several national and local charities, including the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH), a North American non-profit organization that raises funds for children's hospitals, medical research and community awareness of children's health issues.
"Not only do we offer Free Checking for our members, but we're now also providing extra rewards for every debit card purchase - all for free," said Andy Fish, Hoosier Hills Credit Union Senior Vice President for Retail Delivery. "It's nice to be rewarded for purchases you're going to make anyway and not have it cost you a penny."
Sign-up for the new Buzz Points program is easy and can be done online or by downloading the mobile app for iPhones or Android devices.
