(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence Community School board has named Cheryl Knight, as a temporary third assistant principal at Bedford North Lawrence High School to assist in administrative duties during an anticipated absences of Principal Dan Dyke.
The Times Mail reports, the school board voted on the action Thursday night.
Knight, a mathematics teacher at BNL, will fill the position. Michelle Harden, who is a Shawswick Middle School lab instructional assistant, will replace Knight teaching math.
Dyke told the Times Mail that he will miss several days of work each month for treatment of a recently discovered medical condition.
