(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Playwright’s Project invites artists to apply for the 37th Annual Arts Fair on the Square on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This art fair located on the picturesque grounds surrounding the Monroe County Courthouse in the heart of downtown Bloomington, is a Bloomington tradition featuring 110 national, regional, and local artists and craftspeople. Easily accessible with nearby parking and excellent public transportation, Arts Fair on the Square is free and open to the public. In thriving Bloomington, a city committed to arts and artists, Arts Fair on the Square continues to grow every year attracting thousands of new and returning visitors.
The mission of Arts Fair on the Square is to showcase fine art and craft of the highest quality, connect artists with the art-buying community, and promote commitment to the arts through a variety of interactive arts experiences. We continue to increase our target marketing each year, drawing patrons from the greater Bloomington area, Indianapolis, Louisville, and beyond.
Taking place in the heart of downtown Bloomington and running in conjunction with the Taste of Bloomington, Arts Fair on the Square provides a great opportunity to showcase and sell your work while taking in the charm of this culture-rich, diverse city. The Bloomington Playwrights Project takes pride in putting on a great show and making it even better each and every year.
The artist application deadline is March 17, 2017.
