(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman was injured after she lost control of her vehicle and it rolled on its top Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 75-year-old Sharon VonFeldt was traveling west on U.S. 50 West near Kozy Fireplace Road when she became ill and started vomiting.
VonFeldt lost control of her 2012 Chevrolet Equinox causing the vehicle to run off the north side of the road and strike a concrete covert. The vehicle rolled on its side and came to a stop on its top.
Vonfeldt complained of stomach and pelvis pain.
Assisting at the scene was a Seals ambulance, Marion and Huron Volunteer Fire Departments and Bedford Fire Department extrication unit.
