(DAVIESS CO.) - Loogootee man dies in accident Thursday morning on County Road 700 South in Daviess County.= near Alfordsville.
The accident happened west of County Road 1125 East.
Southeast and Harrison Township fire departments responded and found 48-year-old Jon L. Yoder trapped in his 2001 Ford F150after it had crashed into a concrete bridge and caught fire. Yoder died of his injuries at the scene.
Police say it appears Yoder did not apply his brakes prior to the crash.
The crash is still under investigation by deputies from the Daviess County Sheriffs office.
