City Councilmember Pays For New Light Fixtures Outside Of Lawrence County Court House

Last updated on Wednesday, December 14, 2016

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Courthouse has new light fixtures on the poles at each entrance of the courthouse thanks to the generous donations of a long-time Bedford City Councilman.

Patrick Robbins, who also chairs the Bedford Redevelopment Commission, paid for the four light fixtures.

During the renovations on the courthouse grounds paid for through the Stellar grant, officials replaced the light poles but overlooked replacing the light fixtures for the poles.

Thanks to Robbins the courthouse now has new light fixtures that match the original fixtures that once lighted the entrance to the courthouse when it was first built.
