AT&T launched 4G LTE on their cell tower located in the city of Salem previously.

Here's how 4G LTE benefits you:

"This is the kind of technology improvement that can benefit everyone in these communities," said State Sen. Erin Houchin. "So many of us rely on mobile internet to do business, educate our children, and communicate with folks all over the world. We appreciate AT&T's continued investment in Southern Indiana."

"We want our customers to enjoy all the benefits of 4G LTE," said Bill Soards, president of AT&T Indiana. "We're providing stronger connections so they can get the most out of their mobile devices - whether they're watching videos, posting to social media or calling family and friends."

AT&T has invested nearly $2 billion in its wireless and wired networks in Indiana between 2013 through 2015, driving a wide range of upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and performance for residents and business customers.

We constantly invest in our network to give customers the high-quality services they need to stay connected. This helps Indiana residents get the best possible experience over the AT&T network, whether at home, at work or on the go.
